Towards True Business Sustainability
Business sustainability is mostly understood as seeking to minimize the negative impacts of business activities. This has been a start, but it is not at all sufficient if we look at the significant challenges we are facing and the major transformations already going on in many industries. The question today is, how can business create a significant positive impact in critical and relevant areas for society and the planet, while repositioning itself successfully to be a part of these transformations?
The course uses a systemic and highly interactive approach to challenge the participants to adopt a perspective based on “true business sustainability” and an outside-in approach, starting from societal challenges and then developing the business consequences.
