Korean-German meetup (한국어-독일어 모임)

Di, 13 Mär 2018
17:00 - 20:00

Let's meet again to practice Korean and German!

The first hour we will focus on German and the second on Korean. Depending on how many people come and with what levels we also may split into groups.

For each meetup there is an assignment to be done, that will be posted in this description below. So if you can then look at it before the meetup and prepare some sentences that we can review together.

See you soon!
In the next meetup we are going to discuss a short news article (see text below). The idea is to form some sentences in Korean/German with the words used in the article.

The focus will be on the following words/expressions:
-to protest
-to support
-to be in exile
-to demand
-to resign
-to set on fire
-to arrest
Protest in Ukraine – level 2

People are protesting outside the Ukrainian parliament in a camp, as they support the opposition leader Mikheil Saakashvili who is in exile.

They also demand that President Petro Poroshenko resign, and they want an anti-corruption court.

Police came to the camp on Saturday to investigate an earlier conflict, but the situation became worse when they came. People set tires on fire, the police arrested over 100 people and then began demolishing the camp with a tractor.

The National Police says that the policemen found several grenades and the makings of Molotov cocktails on the site.
